Job Title: Data Analyst I
Job Summary: The Data Analyst I role will assist the Geospatial and Data Analytics team with project execution and solution design. This role will be responsible for performing data profiling and analysis, data migration using SQL, create Data Analytics dashboards, and perform data management activities using geospatial platforms, such as Esri geodatabase. This role will report to the Data Analytics Team Lead.
This role can be virtual or hybrid.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze data using SQL, SQL Server, SSRS
- Participate in Data Profiling, Data Issue Resolution and Data Mapping Workshops
- Perform Quality Assurance on analyzed data, migrated data and developed scripts.
- Create Power BI or Tableau dashboards using multiple data sources
- Perform geospatial data analysis and manage geospatial data
- Lead and assist senior technical resources with the design, development, and go to market solutions for data analytics, application development, geospatial service offerings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to generate and maintain detailed documentation
- Willingness to achieve certifications in relevant technologies (Microsoft, AWS, Esri, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Python. And other programming languages)
- Be able to collect, organize, analyze, and create reports using large quantities of complex data.
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently when required
- Must work well in a team environment and take direction from senior technical resources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Technical certification in a programming language, cloud technology, or software related to this role
