Data collection: Gathering raw information from multiple sources, such as company databases, spreadsheets, or online forms.
Data analysis: Using basic math and tools (like SQL or Python) to look for hidden patterns, trends, and answers to specific business questions.
Data visualization: Building clear charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards using software like Power BI or Tableau
Reporting and sharing: Explaining complex findings in simple, everyday language so managers and non-technical teams can understand them
Tracking metrics: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs—specific numbers used to measure how well a project or business is doing).
Working with teams: Collaborating with project managers, marketing staff, and data engineers to figure out what data the company needs next.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable.
Knowledge in SAP Preferred
