Financial Analyst

One Federal Solution is seeking a Financial Analyst to support federal financial reporting, cost analysis, customer billing, and program operations.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and analysis for federal customers and leadership.
• Calculate and analyze monthly customer activity and costs using CBM and CMM.
• Prepare financial reports, variance reports, customer activity reports, and expense analysis.
• Perform quarterly Cost Per Vendor Invoice (CPVI) calculations and reporting.
• Support FASS financial reassessments and analyze workload and cost trends.
• Prepare financial data, budgets, estimates, projections, and management reports.
• Develop dashboards and other program management reports.
• Identify financial and workload variances and research the causes.
• Support process improvement, special projects, and Earned Value Management reporting.
• Document financial analysis, assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
• Work with customers and team members to resolve financial and operational issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analysis and financial management.
• Experience with Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and cost modeling.
• Experience analyzing FASS costs and financial data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data analysis/visualization tools.
• Federal Government experience preferred, including Change Management and Release Management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and SharePoint.
• Experience preparing reports, SOPs, business processes, and technical documentation.
• Strong project management and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Master's degree preferred for mid-level and required for senior-level positions.

Preferred Experience

• Federal financial management experience.
• Experience with CBM, CMM, or similar financial systems.
• Experience with DHS/ICE financial operations.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with financial dashboards and data visualization.
