We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst – Demand Planning who will support business decision-making through demand planning, forecasting, and sales performance analysis. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to develop accurate forecasts, evaluate demand trends, measure forecast performance, and provide actionable insights that support business objectives. The position is responsible for improving forecasting methodologies, reporting tools, and planning processes that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and profitable growth.

You will get to:

  • Provide monthly performance overviews, summarizing Sales performance against plan and forecast with expected impact to future performance.
  • Primary Finance business partner to Sales and Marketing leaders, providing financial guidance, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support
  • Develop dashboards and drillable reporting tools for use by sales management to drive business intelligence and decisions.
  • Lead complex financial analyses to evaluate pricing strategies to evaluate key business initiates, providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead the Demand Planning Process, measure accuracy and help operational efficiency with improved accuracy.
  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Revenue and SKU forecasting, including challenging of assumptions.
  • Lead analysis on forecast variances, biases and accuracy by customer and sales lead to drive continuous improvement in the organization demand forecast process
  • Evaluate demand, sales performance, customer trends, and profitability drivers to enhance forecast accuracy and support business planning decisions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to support development and growth.
  • Exhibit Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Embodies OFD’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department and company culture.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Prior experience in the food manufacturing, or related industry, is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex analytical tools, reporting solutions, and automated processes that support business decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform sophisticated analytical techniques, including regression analysis, forecasting, sensitivity analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain & marketing teams to support demand planning and business planning processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and analytical projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting financial information and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner across Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting tools.
