At Ecolab, we are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst I to join the Procurement Finance LASC team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts related to procurement costs and variances, supporting the Procurement & Supply Chain Finance teams. 

This position will focus on activities such as regional procurement analysis, unit cost trends/variances, material costs, net structural savings, projections of the current and future financial impact of procurement spend, and tracking material savings. 

 

Work arrangement: Hybrid. 

Location: Puerto Madero. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and specific analyses of procurement spend, including purchase price variance (PPV) and year-over-year cost changes for the LASC market. 
  • Analyze trends driven by external factors, such as commodity and FX changes, and internal factors, such as market volume and mix. Review, investigate, and report significant variances. 
  • Support the overall material cost and PPV budgeting process, as well as the analysis of the product standard cost budget. 
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to identify, track, and promote savings opportunities, such as net structural savings, gross margin initiatives, and pricing. 
  • Strengthen collaboration with internal business partners by engaging with Division Finance and Global Supply Chain Finance teams on material variance analysis, forecasting, and Rate-Volume-Mix analysis. 
  • Create and maintain accurate material cost and volume data in a regional database. 
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed, to support Procurement and Division activities. 
  • Provide additional support to the Global and Market Supply Chain Finance teams, as needed. 

Requirements: 

  • Graduate or advanced student in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (required). 
  • Four to six years of previous experience in accounting, finance, or costing. 
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with Power BI. 
  • Experience working with SAP (preferred). 
  • Advanced English proficiency (required).
