The company provides a wide portfolio of IT and telecommunications services with more than 5300 employees. We have hundreds of large customers, corporations in Germany and in other European countries.
DT-ITS recieved the Best in Educational Cooperation award from HIPA in 2019, acknowledged as the the Most Ethical Multinational Company in 2019. The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.
Job Description
We are looking for a versatile technology professional who enjoys working across product management, IT project management, solution design, and hands-on technology.
You will own HR IT solutions from business requirements and technical design through implementation, rollout, and operation. Over time, you will also become increasingly hands-on — using AI-assisted development, coding, APIs, and automation to prototype, build, integrate, and troubleshoot solutions.
You don't need to be a software engineer from day one. What matters is a strong technical mindset, curiosity, and the ambition to understand and build technology yourself.
What you'll do
- Own HR IT products and solutions across their lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation, operation, and continuous improvement.
- Translate HR business needs into requirements, technical concepts, and pragmatic solution designs.
- Design system interactions, integrations, data flows, and processes together with engineers, architects, and platform teams.
- Lead IT initiatives and projects, ensuring delivery in terms of scope, quality, time, and budget.
- Bridge business and technology, acting as a sparring partner for developers and stakeholders.
- Drive integrations, data automation, and migrations across HR platforms and SaaS solutions.
- Evaluate technologies and contribute to the evolution of our HR IT architecture and technology landscape.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders across HR, IT, Security, and Data Privacy.
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and digitalization.
- Become increasingly hands-on with AI-assisted development, coding, APIs, and modern development tools.
Qualifications
We value the ability to move confidently between business problems, product and project ownership, solution design, and technology.
You should bring:
- Experience in technical product management, IT project management, solution design, business/IT consulting, or a comparable role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Good understanding of modern IT systems, including applications, APIs, integrations, data, and cloud technologies.
- Experience driving IT products or projects and coordinating developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into implemented solutions.
- Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A pragmatic mindset balancing business value, user experience, technical quality, security, and maintainability.
- Curiosity and passion for technology and coding, with a willingness to continuously develop your technical skills.
- Interest in AI and AI-assisted development tools.
Hands-on experience with software development, scripting, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, or automation is a strong plus, but not required.
Experience with HR technology, enterprise SaaS, HR data, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HR platforms is helpful but not essential.
Additional Information
Our tech landscape
You don't need to master our stack when you join, but you should be interested in working with technologies such as:
- TypeScript / JavaScript, React & TanStack, Node.js
- REST APIs and system integrations
- SQL and relational databases
- Cloud and serverless technologies
- CI/CD and modern software engineering practices
- AI-assisted development and automation
The goal is not to become a full-time software developer, but a truly technical owner of your solutions — able to move from a business problem to technical design and increasingly to working implementation.
* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
