By joining our Division of Equipment as a Data Analyst in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to perform analysis, in-depth research, query and generate reports on data maintained within KYTC's statewide Equipment Fleet Management System (Operations Management System-OMS).
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system data.
- Generate various data reports.
- Transfer system data into actionable intelligence.
- Collaborate with statewide users.
- Assist with the development of enhanced reporting of data measurements, increasing statewide Equipment
Program effectiveness and efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree OR a graduate of a college or university with an associate's degree in information technology (IT) or related field OR certification in an IT-related field.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of professional experience in IT data analysis.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in computer science will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Two years of additional related experience in IT data analysis will substitute for the education requirement.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title typically perform duties in an office setting. May require minimal travel.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
