Job Description

Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making across commercial, R&D, and corporate functions. This role will partner closely with business leaders to analyze operating expenses, research and development investments, and capital expenditures while providing actionable insights to drive financial performance and support business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and MTP, providing analysis of key risks, opportunities, and business drivers for various operating expenses.
  • Support financial planning and reporting for R&D programs and activities.
  • Monitor project-level spending against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage capital expenditure budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes.
  • Partner with business owners and project teams to evaluate capital investment requests and develop supporting business cases.
  • Analyze data for budget versus actual spend for all vendor spend and share with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead monthly close and management reporting activities, including variance analysis, accrual support, forecast updates, and preparation of accurate, timely, and decision-relevant executive summaries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing, supply chain, and operational functions as business needs evolve.
  • Perform and hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Accounting, or related analytical role, including budgeting, forecasting, business performance tracking, trend analysis and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional business partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIFS, pivot tables, scenario modeling, and large-data analysis; strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills.
  • SAP, Tagetik, Power BI, Qlik, or other financial planning/reporting system experience preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environments preferred.
