About the Role:

Ensisinfo Inc is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team in Plano, TX! In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data architecture and application development, designing robust database solutions and integrations that power critical business systems. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize OLTP MS SQL Server databases for high-performance transactional workloads
  • Architect and implement relational database schemas following RDBMS best practices and normalization standards
  • Build, maintain, and consume REST APIs to enable seamless data integration across systems
  • Write and tune complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers
  • Monitor and improve database performance through indexing strategies and query optimization
  • Collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all database environments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Database Developer with hands-on MS SQL Server expertise
  • Strong proficiency in OLTP database design and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • Experience designing, building, and integrating REST APIs
  • Solid command of T-SQL including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning
  • Deep understanding of database normalization, indexing, and schema design principles
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
