Position Overview
The System Administrator 1 is responsible for supporting or leading digital systems, information management, and application enablement activities required for stable and efficient project and business operations.
The position supports digital operations, information management, and system-enabled execution across project and business functions. It is expected to improve data integrity, system usability, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration while helping users adopt enterprise platforms, engineering applications, and digital workflows in a controlled and scalable manner.
The position is expected to contribute with a high level of ownership, effective communication, and disciplined execution appropriate to the level of responsibility assigned within the organization.
Key Responsibility
- Administer and support enterprise systems, business applications, and digital platforms to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, system configurations, and operational support activities.
- Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and routine maintenance activities.
- Support implementation, testing, and deployment of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Maintain data integrity, information quality, and compliance with company procedures and governance requirements.
- Coordinate with business, engineering, project, and IT teams to support system-related activities and operational needs.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, user guides, and support records.
- Provide user support, training assistance, and technical guidance to improve system adoption and utilization.
- Support digital workflow improvements, process standardization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to system reliability, operational efficiency, and effective delivery of business and project objectives.
Qualification
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred: Relevant certifications in system administration, enterprise applications, or digital technologies.
- Typically 3+ years of experience in system administration, application support, information management, digital platforms, or related business systems environments.
- Good understanding of enterprise applications, user administration, data management principles, and information governance requirements.
- Experience supporting system configuration, maintenance, testing, deployment, and operational support activities.
- Familiarity with access management, document management systems, data quality processes, and business application support.
- Experience supporting engineering systems, project information systems, enterprise software platforms, or digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with business, engineering, project, and IT stakeholders to resolve system-related issues.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently.
- Experience preparing system documentation, supporting end users, and maintaining operational procedures.
- Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives, system optimization efforts, and adoption of digital tools and workflows.
