About the Role
Foothill Technology Solutions (FTS) is hiring an experienced Product Manager to work with our client, a leading cloud-based, all-in-one restaurant management platform covering accounting, inventory, scheduling, and operations. In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and growth of innovative, high-impact products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, to define product direction, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
This role requires a strategic, customer-focused, and data-driven product manager who can identify market opportunities, translate customer insights into product strategy, and guide teams from discovery through launch and iteration. Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Customer & Market Discovery: Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and market assessments to identify problems, validate opportunities, and inform product decisions.
- Prioritization & Business Impact: Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and key performance metrics.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality product experiences from concept to launch.
- Requirements & Product Definition: Translate product strategy into clear requirements, user stories, success metrics, and launch plans that guide execution across teams.
- Go-to-Market Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to support product positioning, messaging, enablement, launches, and adoption strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to evaluate success, uncover opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to internal stakeholders, leadership, and customer-facing teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in product management within a software, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and product discovery processes.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional product delivery.
- Experience using customer insights, market research, analytics, and business metrics to guide product decisions.
- Strong ability to simplify complex problems, identify high-value opportunities, and deliver impactful product enhancements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with restaurant management platforms or similar industry-specific business software.
- Experience building or managing products for the restaurant, hospitality, food service, or back-office operations space.
- Understanding of workflows such as accounting, inventory management, labour management, scheduling, reporting, purchasing, or operational performance tracking.
- Experience working with customers in multi-location, franchise, or hospitality-driven business environments.
