Zurn Elkay Water Solutions is seeking a highly customer-focused and solutions-oriented Product Manager – Aftermarket & Retrofit Solutions to drive product strategy, development, and commercialization of aftermarket parts, retrofit kits, upgrade packages, and replacement solutions within the Drinking Water Business Unit. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to extend product lifecycle value, support installed base customers, and capture aftermarket revenue through replacement parts, conversion kits, and retrofit solutions that modernize or enhance existing installations.

The Aftermarket & Retrofit Product Manager serves as the strategic owner of the aftermarket portfolio, working closely with customers, service teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to understand maintenance needs, obsolescence challenges, and upgrade opportunities. The primary objective is to develop and commercialize profitable aftermarket solutions that increase customer retention, generate recurring revenue, and extend the value of existing product platforms.

This role requires a combination of product management expertise, commercial acumen, technical understanding of installed products, and a strong focus on customer service and lifecycle value.

Reports to: Sr. Director, Product Management

Key Focus Areas

Retrofit & Upgrade Solutions

  • Drive the strategic objective of accelerating facility upgrades by developing retrofit and conversion solutions that make modernization more cost-effective and less labor-intensive than traditional rip-and-replace approaches.

  • Identify installed base opportunities where retrofit solutions can address regulatory changes, technology upgrades, or evolving customer requirements.
  • Develop positioning and value propositions that clearly communicate the benefits of retrofit versus replacement.

Aftermarket Portfolio Strategy

  • Define product roadmap for aftermarket offerings that maximize customer value and recurring revenue, while also implementing upselling pathways for optimized outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the aftermarket portfolio based on installed base analysis, warranty data, service requests, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure availability and accessibility of critical replacement parts to improve customer experience over the life of the installed base.

Business Case Development

  • Evaluate market demand, competitive offerings, customer value, pricing, margin potential, and revenue opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations supported by financial analysis, including expected sales volume, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Present opportunities and business cases to leadership for prioritization and approval.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams through ideation, feasibility assessment, development, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Coordinate priorities across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams.

  • Champion a culture of customer service excellence, lifecycle value creation, and proactive facility modernization.
