We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Senior Product Software Engineer to design, build, and support scalable products and mission-critical systems. The role combines strong backend engineering with modern frontend development, technical ownership, system reliability, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems, along with a pragmatic approach to solving complex engineering challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces using Java and modern frontend technologies.
  • Build reliable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
  • Develop responsive and maintainable frontend applications using React.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Translate product requirements and user stories into actionable technical solutions and engineering tasks.
  • Own features throughout the complete lifecycle, from technical design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Design efficient database schemas and queries for relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Apply principles of loose coupling, service encapsulation, scalability, and maintainability when designing distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver user-focused product experiences.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and contribute to engineering decisions.
  • Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and informal guidance.
  • Define and implement technical and operational metrics to measure system health and manage engineering risks.
  • Improve system observability through metrics, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence and system reliability.
  • Champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile software development.
  • Evaluate and use appropriate AI-powered engineering and automation tools while following organisational policies and security guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in architecture, development processes, performance, and engineering productivity.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 6–9 years of hands-on software engineering experience in full-stack or product engineering environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including Spring-based application development and ORM technologies.
  • Proven experience with React.js or modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and loosely coupled architectures.
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
  • Solid foundation in computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of scalable, reliable, and observable production systems.
  • Experience with automated testing, code reviews, Agile workflows, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is desirable.
  • Experience with data-streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or SNS/SQS is a plus.
  • Exposure to AdTech, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative engineering team.
  • Willingness to mentor peers, learn new technologies, and continuously improve engineering practices.
