Full description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Delivery Solutions Architect based in the United States.
Are you passionate about designing reliable integrations, solving complex technical challenges, and translating client needs into effective solutions? This role offers the opportunity to lead integration projects from initial discovery and technical scoping through development, testing, and launch. You will serve as a trusted technical partner to clients, ensuring project requirements are clearly defined and the solutions delivered align with business objectives. Working closely with developers, project managers, account teams, and sales professionals, you will bridge the gap between commercial commitments and successful technical execution. You will also contribute to pre-sales activities by evaluating feasibility, estimating effort, identifying dependencies, and helping shape integration opportunities. In a fully remote, collaborative environment, you will have the autonomy to improve delivery processes, tackle unfamiliar systems, and build scalable solutions that support measurable client outcomes. If you combine strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse portfolio of integration projects.

Accountabilities
- Lead integration project delivery: Own the technical direction of assigned integration projects from kickoff through launch, ensuring that solutions meet agreed requirements, timelines, and business objectives.
- Manage client discovery and requirements gathering: Serve as a primary technical point of contact during project kickoffs, working alongside project or account managers to clarify expectations, resolve ambiguities, and align stakeholders on project scope.
- Review statements of work: Analyze signed Statements of Work (SOWs) to understand deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and timelines, identifying any gaps between documented commitments and actual client needs.
- Develop technical documentation: Translate client requirements into clear, actionable documentation, including data maps, system architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and developer-ready tasks.
- Design integration architecture: Define how data moves between systems, including data transformations, automation workflows, triggers, and error-handling mechanisms that support reliable operations.
- Ensure integration stability: Anticipate potential technical issues related to system changes, data volume, performance, and cross-platform dependencies, designing solutions that remain reliable in production.
- Coordinate development handoffs: Break integration projects into well-defined tasks that developers can execute independently, providing sufficient technical context to minimize ambiguity and rework.
- Provide ongoing technical oversight: Remain engaged throughout implementation to answer technical questions, resolve blockers, clarify requirements, and guide the development team toward successful delivery.
- Validate technical deliverables: Review completed integrations against documented requirements before client delivery, ensuring quality, functionality, and alignment with agreed expectations.
- Identify and manage project risks: Proactively flag scope gaps, technical constraints, conflicting assumptions, and potential timeline or budget impacts, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues early.
- Support pre-sales and solution design: Participate in discovery and scoping calls for new and expanding business opportunities, assessing technical feasibility and identifying constraints that may affect solution design.
- Develop reliable effort estimates: Translate client requirements into realistic estimates, assumptions, and dependencies that delivery teams can confidently execute against.
- Review proposals and commercial commitments: Evaluate draft Statements of Work before signature to ensure scope clarity, technical feasibility, and appropriate consideration of risks and dependencies.
- Advise on technical trade-offs: Answer client questions during the sales process, explain technical recommendations, and help commercial teams set realistic expectations without overpromising.
- Improve estimation and delivery processes: Maintain documented integration patterns and estimation assumptions, use delivery outcomes to refine future estimates, and contribute to stronger technical documentation and project execution practices.
- Support integration expertise and accreditation: Produce high-quality technical documentation and client references that demonstrate integration capabilities and support relevant platform accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Professional experience: 3–5 years of experience in solutions architecture, business analysis, technical delivery, integration consulting, or a closely related role.
- Technical scoping expertise: Demonstrated experience evaluating technical requirements, estimating implementation effort, identifying dependencies, and defining work that other technical professionals can deliver.
- Systems integration experience: Hands-on experience integrating or migrating business systems outside the HubSpot ecosystem, such as ERP, ticketing, e-commerce, field service, or industry-specific platforms.
- Technical documentation: Experience reading and interpreting Statements of Work or similar requirements documents and translating business needs into clear, structured, developer-ready specifications.
- Data mapping and architecture: Experience creating data maps, system diagrams, or comparable technical documentation that explains how information moves and transforms between systems.
- Integration fundamentals: Solid understanding of data flows, system dependencies, integration architecture, and the technical considerations required to maintain reliable integrations in production.
- Client-facing communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading discovery sessions, gathering requirements, clarifying expectations, and presenting technical recommendations.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitate alignment, and explain complex technical trade-offs in business-friendly language.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong ability to investigate ambiguous requirements, identify missing information, challenge assumptions, and develop practical solutions to unfamiliar technical challenges.
- Project and priority management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, balance delivery responsibilities with time-sensitive pre-sales requests, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Process improvement mindset: A proactive, self-directed approach to developing better processes, documenting repeatable practices, and using project outcomes to improve future execution.
- Technical adaptability: Willingness and ability to become productive quickly with unfamiliar systems, tools, and technical environments.
- Preferred business systems experience: Familiarity with platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Great Plains, Zendesk, Keap, Creatio, Procore, Snowflake, and point-of-sale or industry-specific systems.
- Preferred API knowledge: Experience working with REST, SOAP, or GraphQL APIs.
- Preferred integration platform experience: Familiarity with Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions.
- Preferred pre-sales experience: Previous experience supporting sales teams through solutions consulting, technical discovery, integration scoping, or proposal development.
- Preferred diagramming skills: Familiarity with tools such as Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, or Miro.
- Preferred data skills: Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Preferred development background: Previous software development experience or sufficient technical depth to define implementation tasks that developers can execute without extensive additional clarification.
- Remote work readiness: Ability to work independently, collaborate across distributed teams, and maintain clear communication in a fully remote environment.
Benefits
- Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from $110,000 to $125,000.
- Remote work flexibility: Fully remote position based in the United States.
- Technical ownership: The opportunity to lead integration projects from discovery through launch and take responsibility for technical quality and delivery outcomes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with developers, sales professionals, account teams, and client stakeholders on complex integration challenges.
- Professional development: Opportunities to expand expertise across enterprise systems, APIs, integration platforms, and solution architecture.
- Process innovation: The ability to influence technical delivery standards, improve estimation practices, and develop repeatable integration methodologies.
- Client impact: Direct involvement in helping clients connect business systems, improve data flows, and achieve measurable operational outcomes.
- Autonomy and responsibility: A role that combines hands-on technical problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and ownership of project execution.
- Remote-first culture: A distributed working environment that prioritizes expertise, collaboration, client relationships, and results over traditional office-based work.
- Career growth: Opportunities to deepen technical leadership skills and broaden experience across solution design, technical consulting, and integration strategy.
