What you’ll do

• Lead collaboration with tech leads to design and implement sustainable software architecture.

• Establish engineering processes that prioritize maintainability, quality, and smooth delivery.

• Get hands-on with building key parts of the solution alongside the development team.

• Partner with clients to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.

• Drive strategic architecture decisions that align technical execution with business goals.

• Empower the development team, create clarity in the architecture decision-making process.

What makes you a great fit

• Strong technical background and proven experience leading architecture or technical direction on complex systems. You don't need the title "Software Architect" already — a senior developer who has grown into this kind of ownership fits just as well.

• Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. This is the stack we build on, so you need to be comfortable working in it, not just familiar with the concepts.

• Comfortable diagnosing problems early in a project or in a difficult phase, and setting direction from there.

• Excellent communication skills, including in front of clients. You'll represent the technical side in meetings and help the team make its case clearly.

• Fluency in Estonian and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in a domain where the systems genuinely matter: banking, insurance, telecom, energy, or the public sector. If you've worked somewhere money or critical information moves, you already understand the stakes we're dealing with.

• Curiosity about AI-assisted development. We're not asking for prior AI-first project experience, just an interest in learning it with us.

Salary range:

For a junior-level position: 5500-6200€ gross/monthly (full-time),

For a mid-level position: 6200-7600€ gross/monthly (full-time).

Final compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, role seniority, and skill set.
