We are looking for Project Manager to join our team.

Quipu is the dedicated IT company of the ProCredit group and provides comprehensive end-to-end solutions for all ProCredit institutions, as well as for other banks and financial institutions This includes everything from electronic payment services to software systems, hybrid cloud hosting, and a host of other operations.

A 100% subsidiary of ProCredit Holding, Quipu was established in March 2004 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Quipu plays a central role within the ProCredit group, providing a comprehensive range of support services that enable the banks to become competitive and efficient.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure-related projects for Quipu and ProCredit Group banks, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with regulatory, security, and operational requirements. The PM works closely with the IT Operations Management (ITOM) team, bank stakeholders, and Quipu technical units to ensure successful project outcomes and seamless integration into ongoing IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects (planning, execution, monitoring, closure) across ProCredit Group banks.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with bank and Quipu priorities.
  • Coordinate with Quipu technical teams, ITOAM, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements in all project activities.

Governance & Alignment

  • Align infrastructure project execution with bank strategic objectives, IT roadmaps, and IT Operations priorities.
  • Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to Senior Management, ITOAM leadership and bank governance bodies (e.g., ITSC, StratCo).
  • Ensure all projects follow Quipu’s project management standards, methodologies, and documentation practices.
  • Support the prioritization mechanism of infrastructure projects within the IT Operations Sub-Portfolio.

Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper mitigation and escalation when necessary.
  • Monitor project KPIs (time, cost, quality, scope) and take corrective actions where deviations occur.
  • Facilitate testing, validation, and acceptance of delivered infrastructure solutions by the bank.
  • Ensure smooth handover of completed projects into IT Operations, with clear documentation and training where required.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure project-related communication with banks.
  • Maintain transparent communication with ITOAM, Quipu teams, and bank management, ensuring expectations are well managed.
  • Build strong working relationships with relevant bank units to ensure alignment and trust.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure project delivery methodologies and tools within Quipu.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across ITOAM and other project managers.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize project execution efficiency, cost control, and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects (e.g., networking, datacenter, cloud migration, security, hardware/software upgrades).
  • Strong project management skills with knowledge of relevant methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of IT operations, ITIL practices, and regulatory/audit requirements in the financial sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior bank management.
  • Ability to coordinate across diverse technical teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and maintain on-site presence at bank premises as required for project execution.
