About the role

The consultant will design and deliver BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud. They will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT to translate requirements into user-friendly data visualizations.

SAP BI consultant

Location: Vienna or remote from Czechia or Slovakia

Type: permanent and hybrid

Language: English

Suitable for EU nationals or EU work permit holders

Senior SAP BI consultant position

Key areas:

  • Data modelling
  • Gathering and translating business requirements
  • Developing and delivering BI and reporting solutions to the business
  • Working closely with multiple business areas, not just Finance
  • Maintaining strong business engagement while working closely with IT

SAP BI consultant:

Key areas:

  • Design of BI reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI tools.
  • Translating business requirements into clear, user-friendly reports, KPIs and visualisations.
  • Close cooperation with business stakeholders, BI teams, SAP experts and IT.
  • Ensuring standards for report quality, usability and performance.
  • Identifying and resolving data quality and reporting issues.
  • Testing and supporting the deployment of reports and dashboards.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong SAP BI / BW / HANA experience
  • Hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience
  • Strong data modelling and requirements-gathering skills
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and IT
  • Strong problem-solving and optimisation mindset
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements

Project: The company is currently migrating from Qlik to SAP Analytics Cloud, with completion expected around mid to end of next year. There is also a significant pipeline of new BI and reporting requirements beyond the migration.
