Position Overview: This position supports the anticipated U.S. Marine Corps Program Office Support effort at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA as a Senior Financial Analyst. Senior Financial Analysts carry the financial formulation and execution of a Marine Corps program office under some of the most stringent quantitative quality standards in Government support contracting, supporting the Assistant Program Manager for Financial Management. Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: MCB Quantico, VA

Anticipated Start Date: December 2026, contingent upon contract award.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support daily and weekly financial execution with reports that explain each change; generate Funding Action Requests and process them through the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), including iProcurement submission
  • Track budget execution against the Budget Plan and Office of the Secretary of War benchmarks; monitor open procurement requests; keep the program checkbook accurate, verifiable, and traceable
  • Reconcile the funding phasing plan, Program Management Plan, actual execution, and forecast continuously; flag anomalies between program records and SABRS for correction by the next business day
  • Perform Program Objective Memorandum (POM) variance, cost-benefit, shortfall, and trade-off analyses; synthesize results into Excel financial models and PowerPoint decision products
  • Prepare Status of Funds reporting across appropriations, support MIPR execution and Unliquidated Obligation research, and stage error-free data for Tri-Annual reviews
  • Build repeatable audit readiness processes, including Capital Asset Cost Form accountability, and reconcile dormant and abnormal accounts before an auditor asks

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Twelve (12) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active SECRET security clearance required.
  • Hands-on fluency in DAI, Cerberus, SABRS, and PIEE

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Marine Corps or Navy program office financial management experience
  • Tri-Annual review and audit response experience

United States of America: $120,000 USD – $145,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
