Job Description

Join a team where your insight can help shape the future of business transformation across a growing renewable energy business. If you're passionate about turning complex challenges into clear, evidence-based recommendations, this is an opportunity to influence strategic decisions and drive meaningful change at scale.

At EDF power solutions, we're shaping an Electric UK and Ireland. Your work will help us turn that ambition into action, delivering renewable energy solutions that will power homes, businesses and communities for generations to come.

The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a central role within our Business Process Transformation team, providing the analysis, business understanding and structured thinking needed to turn strategic intent into successful, adopted change. You'll work across the organisation, helping leaders make informed decisions that improve performance, efficiency and long-term value.

This is a hybrid role based from either our #Durham or #London office. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely, with office attendance expected as and when required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and business priorities.

You'll contribute by helping to identify improvement opportunities, validate business concepts, shape target operating models and build the evidence needed for investment and transformation decisions. You'll also help establish best practice business analysis standards across the organisation.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Business Analyst with strong analytical capability, curiosity and the confidence to challenge assumptions through evidence-based analysis. You'll be experienced in working across complex organisations and building trusted relationships with stakeholders. Are you experienced in...?

  • Significant business analysis experience within complex organisations, where analysis has directly informed investment, transformation, improvement or adoption decisions
  • Testing business concepts, problem definitions, assumptions and target operating model thinking before progressing into detailed requirements or solution design
  • Facilitating requirements gathering and analysis activities with diverse stakeholders, translating needs into clear, prioritised and traceable requirements
  • Producing value, cost and benefits analysis to support portfolio, improvement and change adoption decisions
  • Requirements analysis and documentation including elicitation, workshop facilitation, prioritisation, traceability, validation and change control

What You'll Be Doing

  • Validating business problems, concepts, assumptions and target operating model thinking before requirements gathering begins
  • Contributing to workshops, stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis to define clear business outcomes and delivery-ready requirements
  • Producing business cases, options appraisals, process analysis and recommendations for complex transformation initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, benefits tracking and analytical reporting to support decision-making
  • Establishing business analysis standards, methods and best practices across the wider organisation

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a competitive salary, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
