Job Title
Systems Analyst
Description
Systems Analysts examine business and technical needs and translate them into system requirements, models and solution specifications. They assess existing systems, evaluate options and work with multidisciplinary teams to design, integrate and improve secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse
business, user and technical requirements and translate them into clear system specifications, models and solution options.
- Assess
existing systems, interfaces, data flows and processes to identify constraints, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop
functional and non-functional specifications, system models, interface requirements and supporting technical documentation.
- Evaluate
solution options for feasibility, security, privacy, accessibility, performance, supportability and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Collaborate
with business analysts, architects, developers, testers and operational teams to design integrated, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Support
system configuration, integration, testing, implementation and transition, ensuring solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Investigate
incidents, defects and performance issues, identify root causes and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
- Maintain
traceability and system documentation, communicate technical risks and decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
