Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee projects from inception through successful completion. In this role, you will manage budgets, coordinate schedules, interface with clients, and ensure field crews deliver high-quality commercial roofing systems safely and on time. This position requires approximately 20% travel to visit active regional job sites and conduct client walk-throughs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Track project budgets, oversee job costing, manage material procurement, and handle change orders.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects tracking on schedule.
  • Client & Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for building owners, general contractors, engineers, and internal field crews.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections (requiring up to 20% regional travel) to monitor progress, resolve field obstacles, and ensure quality workmanship.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong preference for commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal Roofing).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and blue-print/takeoff estimating tools.
  • Travel Capacity: Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time to regional project locations.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Leadership: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and contract negotiation skills.
