Position Overview Our Solutions Architects support end-to-end solutions, systems, and products for our customers. The team investigates and resolves product and solution problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Candidates load software, configure, integrate, verify, and troubleshoot solutions in a lab environment or customer site using Oceus Network’s products, 3rd party products, and/or customized packages.
Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current secret security clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related field
Preferred Qualifications: Current U.S. Government Security Clearance is preferred
Techno-Functional Competency Requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
- Strong partnership interaction experience with the ability to manage complex relationships across teams

Core Technical Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of servers, routers and switches
Preferred Technical Skills: Working knowledge of wireless technologies such as LTE and GSM is a plus.
Associate Principal (10-12 years)
- Experience: 10-12 years of engineering experience in computer technology, telecommunications, or related systems integration roles.
- Skill Focus: Advanced proficiency in designing distributed systems, large‑scale enterprise architectures, and multi‑tier platforms, with proven ability to guide cross‑functional implementation teams. Significant hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including identity and access design, networking architectures, workload optimization, and multi‑environment governance. Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices architectures, container orchestration, message brokers, and CI/CD pipelines. High‑level analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of resolving complex multi‑system issues involving infrastructure, data flows, application logic, and security controls. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences and influence team direction. Demonstrated leadership experience working across engineering, product, and security teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring architectural consistency. Strong command of secure architecture principles, threat modeling, compliance frameworks, and defense‑in‑depth methodologies. Commitment to continual learning and staying current on modern architectural frameworks, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Responsibilities: Provide enterprise level architectural leadership by developing long term solution roadmaps, multi domain integration strategies, and scalable frameworks that support organizational growth and mission critical objectives. Lead the design and development of major solution architectures by creating detailed blueprints, integration strategies, and scalable system designs aligned with customer requirements and organizational goals. Act as the primary technical escalation point for challenging architectural issues, coordinating with engineering, product, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive solutions. Conduct technical discovery sessions with stakeholders, analyze business and operational constraints, and translate requirements into actionable architectural specifications and design artifacts. Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and third-party platforms to recommend reliable, cost-effective components that enhance solution robustness and long-term maintainability. Enforce architectural governance practices, ensuring consistent adoption of design standards, integration patterns, and documentation requirements across engineering teams. Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product strategy teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with organizational direction, compliance frameworks, and customer mission needs. Lead technical scoping, proof of concept development, and risk assessments for significant solution initiatives, ensuring feasibility and alignment with customer and product objectives. Guide engineering teams through architectural implementation, providing detailed directions on integration patterns, security considerations, and system interfaces. Collaborate closely with product strategy, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements, compliance obligations, and mission specific needs. Drive modernization projects such as cloud native migrations, core platform updates, and multi system integration efforts to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. Present architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and technical impacts to internal leaders and customer teams, influencing alignment and promoting understanding across stakeholders. Mentor senior engineers and team members by providing architectural guidance, conducting design reviews, and supporting the development of advanced technical skills.
