Product Manager - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech powers some of the Nordics’ most trusted banking systems with secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Using automation, data, AI, and cloud, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience. 

 

Tieto Banktech Loans owns the lending and financing solutions used by a large number of banks in Norway. As Product Manager, you will combine strategic thinking, an understanding of both customers and technology, and strong execution skills. You are the link between customer needs, developer capabilities and architectural frameworksand you make complex work simpler, not harder. 

 

When joining Tieto Banktech as a Product Manager 

• You join a skilled team of product managers, developers and architects, where you learn new things with your colleagues 

• You own the product strategy and roadmap for your area 

• You define and communicate the product vision and strategy clearly, and drive necessary change 

• You prioritize based on customer value, business goals and technical realities 

• You act as the link between customers, developers and architects, ensuring that everyone understands each other 

• You ensure that solutions are actually delivered, and that they are scalable, secure and commercially relevant 

• You build trust internally and externally, while taking ownership of decisions 

• You follow up on impact and results, and adjust as needed 

 

Who we are looking for  

• You have extensive experience in product management, business development or similar 

• You have completed or led real modernization, digitalization or transformation projects – from start to delivery 

• You have experience from banking, finance or similar complex industries 

• You understand customer needs, business goals and technological opportunities.  

• You are fluent in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing
