About the role
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining and validating inventory item master data to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards. They will also liaise with regional teams to troubleshoot issues and support supply chain system roll-outs and upgrades.

Responsibilities
Health and Safety:
- Having the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Following Company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions
Operations Management:
- Maintain, review and monitor master data items to ensure data accuracy
- Receive inventory item master creation and change requests from regions
- Validate data for completeness, adherence to standards and for ensuring no duplicates
- Assist with designation of categories and other item attributes
- Liaise with various regions and departments to troubleshoot any issues with inventory item requests
- Load inventory item data into Oracle Fusion
- Set-up inventory items in JD Edwards
- Assist with initial assignment to inventory organizations as well as addition to pricing groups and cycle counts
- Ensure item numbers are aligned in multiple systems
- Participate in system roll-outs
- Work with and assist project teams on implementation or upgrades of new and existing supply chain solutions/ modules
- Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for supply chain related solutions/ modules
Global travel as required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
Qualifications
Education
Required: College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 3 years related work experience.
Work Experience:
Required: 3+ years’ relevant experience
Knowledge Required
- In-depth experience supporting supply chain module/ solution
- Prior application experience with Oracle Fusion SCM and JD Edwards is beneficial
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Flexible and adaptable in learning new technologies and solutions
- Fluent English language skills.
