Job Requirements About the Role

Product Manager – Process & Compliances will be responsible for reviewing, designing, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to KYC/AML processes for Current Accounts within the Retail Liabilities function. Based in Mumbai, this role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, simplifying processes for business teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to support timely regulatory submissions and approvals. The role also involves driving automation initiatives and delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review existing SOPs and create new ones in line with KYC/AML guidelines for Current Accounts.
  • Innovate and implement process improvements, including identifying automation needs and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to retrieve data and documentation required for regulatory submissions.
  • Facilitate SOP approvals by working closely with relevant departments.
  • Simplify and streamline processes to enhance usability for business teams.
  • Analyze complex problems and develop effective, lateral solutions.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Apply strong analytical reasoning to support decision-making.
  • Lead and guide teams where applicable, ensuring alignment with compliance goals.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation in any discipline (Full time)
  • Post-graduation (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in banking operations, compliance, or process management, preferably within retail liabilities.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, CFT, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English with effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in process design, documentation, and automation.
