Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Project Manager to be embedded on Robinhood's Security Technology team. The Security Systems Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery and execution of integrated physical security technology projects across global sites. Responsible for new office builds, tenant improvements, third-party sites, co-located data centers, and MACs, this role manages project schedules, budgets, and vendors.

The Security Systems Project Manager serves as the primary operational link between internal stakeholders, architectural/construction trades, and system integrators to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full alignment with Robinhood's security standards.

This is a full-time, hybrid position offering competitive benefits. Employees are required to work onsite two to three days per week at Robinhood's New York office, with the flexibility to work remotely the remaining days.

Essential Job Functions

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead all phases of physical security projects, including initial scope definition, budget tracking, schedule creation, vendor bid evaluations, installation oversight, and final testing and commissioning.

• System Integration Oversight: Oversee field deployment of enterprise security hardware and software, including access control, video management systems (CCTV), intrusion detection, intercoms, and visitor management solutions.

• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise security integrators, field technicians, electrical and construction trades during installation to ensure quality execution, compliance with specifications, and zero post-deployment defects.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Represent physical security in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and lead cross-functional alignment with Real Estate, Workplace, Corporate Engineering, AV, and Information Security teams.

• Testing, Commissioning & Documentation: Direct device QA, system testing, sign-offs, and handover activities. Maintain complete project archives including floorplans, single-line diagrams, RFI submittals, warranties, and design packages.

• Financial & Risk Tracking: Track project budgets and performance metrics, manage scope changes via structured change-management processes, and regularly report project status to physical security leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5+ years managing physical security deployments from design through commissioning, including direct coordination of field technicians, construction trades, or vendor teams.

• Technical Systems Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with enterprise access control, CCTV, and intrusion platforms (e.g., Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec, CCure, S2, Milestone).

• Architectural Literacy: Ability to read, interpret, and mark up CAD/PDF drawings, security elevation layouts, and schematic drawings.

• Travel & Work Schedule: Up to 25% domestic and international travel required for initial site walks, active construction site visits, vendor supervision, and final system testing/commissioning. Requires flexibility for off hours support as project schedules dictate.

• Preferred Certifications: SIA Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
