An exciting opportunity to join our Work Dynamics team as Finance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional financial services to one of our key strategic clients. You'll leverage your analytical expertise and business acumen to drive financial excellence, working to ensure seamless delivery of financial management, reporting, and strategic support. As a trusted financial business partner, you'll build meaningful relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders, contributing to budget development, forecasting activities, and continuous process improvements.

An overview of the role:

  • Work proactively with the Senior Finance Manager to manage and deliver finance requirements under the contract, including journal review and processing, P&L reporting with variance analysis, and insightful commentary that drives informed decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted financial business partner by building strong relationships with key internal teams and client stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance and support across the account.
  • Collaborate on annual budget development and periodic forecasting activities, partnering closely with the Senior Finance Manager and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of efficient reporting strategies, including automation and process simplification initiatives that maintain critical data integrity and enhance operational excellence.
  • Assist with broader account objectives including Data Governance, AP/AR/GL processes, Financial Governance and Controls, and ad-hoc projects that contribute to overall service excellence and key performance indicator achievement.

 

Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:

  • Minimum three years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related business analysis role, with strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field, plus qualification as CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, articulate complex financial information clearly, and demonstrate a proactive, professional approach to customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with thorough understanding of IT systems and how to leverage technology for financial reporting and analysis (experience with MS Project and/or Visio is advantageous).
