Reporting to the Head of Data, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, improving how data is integrated, modelled and made available for reporting and analytics.

What You Will Be Working On

• Extend and optimise Levande’s data platform, including infrastructure, data models and processing frameworks.

• Build and maintain production pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes, supporting batch and streaming processing.

• Strengthen platform availability, security and data quality through monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

• Partner with technology and business teams on reporting and analytics requirements, while guiding vendor delivery and improving data literacy.

What Type Of Person Will Be Successful

You bring strong engineering judgement, enjoy solving complex problems and explain technical decisions clearly. You’re comfortable influencing others while staying close to delivery.

You’ll bring:

• Extensive data engineering experience, ideally 10 or more years, with expert SQL and data integration skills.

• Experience developing reliable production pipelines, metadata-driven frameworks and secure, well-modelled data stores.

• Working knowledge of Databricks, Airflow, Spark, ETL tools, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience contributing to technical architecture and delivering within Agile teams.

Experience with dbt, Python, Java or Scala would be an advantage, alongside cloud experience across Azure, Google Cloud or AWS and awareness of AI and machine learning.
