Your mission

Join us in solving one of industrial robotics' toughest challenges.   R3 Robotics is developing the AI-powered dismantling platform that transforms end-of-life electric vehicle systems into strategic sources of critical materials. As global electrification accelerates, the surge in batteries and e-motors requires automated solutions that manual disassembly cannot provide. We are addressing this industrial bottleneck by enabling the automated dismantling of complex systems at scale through computer vision, artificial intelligence, and specialized robotic tooling.   Following a successful €20M Series A funding round led by HG Ventures and Suma Capital, we are expanding across Europe and preparing for our entry into the United States market in 2026. We partner with major industrial recyclers and automotive OEMs to deliver measurable impact.   If you seek to work on advanced robotics within a well-funded organization scaling internationally, this is your opportunity.   Your role   As our Senior Product Analyst, you make R3's product, pricing and operations decisions run on evidence. You work across our Kuppenheim disassembly operations and our Fleet Management portal, owning the analytics side while a data engineer builds the pipelines and the portal. You join the Product team and work hybrid, 2 days per week on site (Luxembourg or Karlsruhe), with regular travel to Kuppenheim and customer sites.   Your Responsibilities

  • Automate inventory and operations data. Design and implement Airtable storage tracking with location (building › rack › shelf › pallet) from delivery to shipment, roll out tagging and inventory automation, clean up existing bases and SOPs, and automate the Weekly Business Review.
  • Own the metrics behind the product performance. Define and document cycle time, throughput, utilization, Availability, Performance, Quality, MTBF/MTTR, recovery yield, cost per pack, uptime and kg per available man-hour; agree them with Operations and Automation; specify what the portal shows to R3 and to customers; and validate metric releases against production data.
  • Find out why performance changes. Run root cause and causal analysis on losses, faults, aborts and rework, and design experiments and controlled comparisons that measure the effect of recipe, software and hardware changes.
  • Keep the data requirements moving. Maintain the data requirements catalogue and close open business definitions with the machine software, DigiOps, automation and operations teams.
  • Back pricing with data. Build cost per pack and price-floor models per pack type for DaaS, and the internal and external inputs behind RaaS pricing.
  • Maintain the capacity model. Keep the Kuppenheim capacity and profitability model up to date with actuals and identify the bottleneck.
  • Run market intelligence. Track which EV battery packs drive demand, competitors, material prices and regulation, and turn it into sourced updates Operations uses to plan the pack mix.

Your profile

  • 3+ years in product, operations or business analytics, or a comparable evidence-driven role; a background in industrial, cleantech, automotive, energy or recycling is a plus, as is the ability to learn a technical domain quickly.
  • Strong SQL and Python (or similar) on raw operational or event data: timestamps, state intervals, time zones and overlapping intervals.
  • Hands-on with Airtable or similar low-code tools, no-code automation (e.g. n8n, Make, Zapier) and REST APIs. You build the automation yourself rather than specifying it for someone else.
  • You have built and run a recurring operational or product report from raw data, including the automation behind it.
  • Metric design: you can show a metric you defined that changed a decision, and one that turned out to be wrong.
  • You research a market and reach clear, sourced conclusions.
  • Clear writer who turns data into a recommendation a site lead or the CEO can act on.
  • Comfortable on a disassembly floor; you see operations reporting as core work, and you pick the simplest tool that works.
  • Nice to have: OEE, MTBF/MTTR and manufacturing or warehouse data; dbt, Athena or Metabase; pricing or unit-economics work; knowledge of the EV battery or critical-materials value chain; German and/or French (English required).

Why us?

  • High degree of collaboration and autonomy while working with a group of highly skilled, committed and supportive peers
  • Transparent culture where everyone is highly valued
  • Development of your professional skills and knowledge by taking ownership of challenging tasks and responsibilities, supported by leads and peers
  • “Getting things done” attitude, and access to cutting edge technologies
  • Complementary Health Insurance
