Bright Money is a Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers. It brings together SaaS products to help consumers build credit, manage their debt, and get access to suitable loans and credit cards. These are the major financial needs of middle-income consumers living paycheck-to-paycheck.

Bright is a profitable, India-built, U.S.-market Consumer FinTech, with revenue trajectory to $100M in the coming 6 months. The business model combines subscription revenue with a financial service marketplace revenues, for loans, credit cards, and credit building tools.

Bright has launched an AI money assistant and AI agentic UX flows for access to credit. It will be the first AI-driven Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers.

The Bright product suite has potential for global markets beyond the US. The market size is 100M global middle-income consumers, with a revenue pool opportunity of $15B.

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientists (Varun Modi and Avi Patchava). The core team is ex-InMobi Engineering and Data Sciences, recently joined by senior leaders from McKinsey. Bright is a data-driven, fast-paced execution culture that will build a Global Consumer FinTech, all functions operating from India.'

What is the team & role about?

  • We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our AI product team and help build the next generation of AI-powered and agentic experiences for our customers.
  • You’ll work closely with product leadership, engineering, design, data science, and business teams to identify high-value opportunities where AI can fundamentally improve how customers interact with financial products.
  • This is a hands-on role for someone excited about building and shipping AI products, not just writing AI strategies.

What will you do?

  • Own key parts of the credit card product end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to execution and growth.
  • Own AI product initiatives end-to-end — from identifying customer problems to prototyping, launching, measuring, and scaling solutions
  • Identify opportunities to use LLMs, agents, automation, and intelligent decisioning to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
  • Design and build agentic workflows that can reason, take actions, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks on behalf of customers.
  • Work closely with engineering and AI/ML teams on LLM architecture, agent workflows, tool use, evaluations, guardrails, and reliability.
  • Define product success metrics and build frameworks to evaluate AI experiences across quality, accuracy, task completion, customer outcomes, and business impact.
  • Rapidly prototype new AI experiences and turn promising concepts into production-ready products.
  • Run experiments and continuously iterate on prompts, workflows, UX, models, and underlying product logic.
  • Partner with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to responsibly deploy AI in a financial-services environment.
  • Stay close to the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and translate new capabilities into practical product opportunities.

Ideal candidate profile looks like

  • 3+ years of product management experience,
  • Has owned and built AI/ML products
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, RAG, tool calling, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience taking AI products from 0→1 and into production.
  • Strong product sense — you can distinguish between an interesting AI demo and a product that actually solves a customer problem.
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers and data scientists and getting into the technical details when required.
  • Ability to operate in high ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or other regulated industries is a strong plus.

Experience & Background:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, consumer technology, lending, payments, or credit.
  • Has owned and built AI/ML products
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, RAG, tool calling, and evaluation frameworks.

Mindset & Operating DNA:

  • Hands-on experience with building an E2E AI product
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, RAG, tool calling, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience taking AI products from 0→1 and into production.
  • Strong product sense — you can distinguish between an interesting AI demo and a product that actually solves a customer problem
