About role

Are you passionate about transforming data into action? As a Data Analyst at CLO, your initial focus will be leading and supporting the implementation of Power BI across the organisation. Leveraging your strong Power BI experience, you will develop impactful dashboards, create reporting solutions, and provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders, you will transform business requirements into meaningful data stories while ensuring data integrity, security, and best practice reporting standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations to meet business requirements.
  • Gather, transform and analyse data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy integrity and reliability, automating these processes where possible to drive efficiencies.
  • Identify trends, patterns and opportunities within data to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into clear data, reporting and analytics specifications.
  • Implement and maintain Row-level security and other data controls with Power BI ensuring appropriate data visibility.
  • Build and maintain data models using available systems. Review and propose alternate systems to match business needs.
  • Validate and continuously improve data quality, consistency, governance and reporting standards.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support business initiatives and organisational objectives.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to business and technical stakeholders in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to interpret data and generate meaningful business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data and reporting initiatives with organisational strategies and priorities.
  • Provide support with UAT, report validation, deployment and continuous improvement activities.

About You

  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  •  Knowledge of data governance, security, and reporting best practices.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar technologies.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.
  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering business value through data.

Essential Requirements

  • A current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (Degree preferred).
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, and Data Modelling.
  • Full Australian working rights and the ability to satisfy all visa requirements.
