About the assignment

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst consultant to join the Data & Intelligence team in the Messaging & Ecosystems department. You will own the team's quantitative insights from day one. You will work with product, tech and design to find problems, test solutions and measure impact.

 

Responsibilities

  • Get up to speed quickly on our messaging data and existing dashboards.
  • Deliver the analyses and insights Product needs to make decisions.
  • Define experiments, review their setup, and analyse results with a clear recommendation.
  • Maintain the team's KPIs so tracking and reporting stay reliable.
  • Build and update the data pipelines and dashboards behind those KPIs.
  • Document your work and hand it over cleanly at the end of the assignment.

 

Requirements

Mandatory

  • 5+ years in Data Analytics, including hands-on work in product teams.
  • Strong SQL for extracting, transforming and analysing data.
  • Experience with a BI tool such as Looker (preferred), Tableau or Power BI.
  • Hands-on A/B testing experience: designing tests, checking their health (e.g. sample ratio mismatch), and analysing results.
  • Able to work independently and deliver with little onboarding.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice-to-have

  • BigQuery.
  • Mobile app data.
  • dbt.
