The ideal candidate brings advanced experience with Python, Ansible, Node.js, React, Go, PowerShell, and related technologies, along with a strong foundation in cloud operations, systems administration, networking, software engineering, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance, develop, and maintain internal tools for inventory generation, environment management, and automation.
  • Design and develop code for commercial end-user applications, prototypes, test tools, and other supporting programs.
  • Write, test, debug, and maintain automated deployment and configuration software using applicable programming languages and technologies.
  • Design, develop, and execute deployment, configuration, and automation workflows using Ansible, Jenkins, and related tools.
  • Create automation jobs that correct common issues, update configurations, and enable proactive auto-remediation.
  • Use knowledge of Aspect’s product suite to identify and implement new automation and auto-remediation opportunities.

  • Maintain current packages and dependencies for internal tools that use open-source libraries.
  • Proactively identify code that does not comply with requirements, standards, or designs and raise appropriate defects.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to understand system requirements and determine necessary modifications.
  • Contribute to product design specifications and broader design or process development.
  • Create and maintain best-practice guidelines, knowledge-base articles, runbooks, and procedures for deployment, configuration, installation, and maintenance.
  • Apply software debugging techniques, object-oriented design, multithreaded programming, and advanced design patterns when developing and troubleshooting solutions.
  • Brainstorm and implement creative approaches to remediate issues throughout the environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to internal audiences and collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple time zones.

Required Qualifications
