Senior QA Tester

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Tester to join the delivery team of our global client from the Nordic banking sector, working in an international Agile/Scrum environment. You will plan, design and execute tests across complex software systems and work closely with automation testers to secure optimal test coverage. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

Key Details:

  • Rate: up to 110 PLN/h net (B2B)
  • Work Model: hybrid, 2–3 days per week from the office, full-time (40 h/week)
  • Location: Warsaw or Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring QA activities are efficient and well documented, in line with the latest quality standards
  • Analysing and designing new tests (test cases and scenarios)
  • Planning and executing tests
  • Reporting defects and managing the full defect lifecycle
  • Recommending appropriate actions based on test results
  • Working with automation testers to secure optimal manual and automated regression coverage
  • Working actively with the Scrum team to ensure high delivery quality

Requirements:

  • ISTQB certification
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in Agile teams
  • Ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team as an individual contributor
  • Experience defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software systems
  • Experience in Web and Mobile testing, including cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack)
  • Experience in system testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile)
  • API testing with Postman and Swagger
  • Experience with test management tools (preferably qTest or similar)
  • Practical experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong attention to detail, quality mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and comfort working in an international environment
  • Fluent English

Nice to have:

  • Test automation experience
  • Working knowledge of the PEGA platform
  • Working knowledge of AI tools
  • Experience with SAFe
