About the ProjectAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help architect and optimize the cloud infrastructure that supports a global, high-availability HR tech platform. Your primary focus will be on Azure and Kubernetes environments, although AWS plays a role too. This is a hands-on position where you'll automate infrastructure, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and lead cloud reliability practices while working with engineering, product, and security teams.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, manage, and optimize cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (or CloudFormation).
  • Build, improve, and automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications to ensure performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Administer databases (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL), including backups and tuning.
  • Implement best practices in security, secrets management, and compliance (Key Vault, Secrets Manager, OWASP, NIST).
  • Deploy and manage observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
  • Collaborate across teams to promote GitOps, DevOps, and SRE practices.
  • Contribute to incident response and post-mortems to improve system resilience.
  • Support developer productivity and enable fast, secure releases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud-native environments.
  • Expertise in Azure (AKS, Functions, App Services, Key Vault, etc.) and solid experience with AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Database experience with SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking, load balancers, VPCs, and SSL certs.
  • Strong grasp of application security, IAM, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with observability stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Clear English communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
