Full description

As a Senior Product Manager for Charting, you'll drive a core part of the transformation of our chart production pipeline. We are replacing a legacy system with a modern, automated charting tool. You'll support key areas of the product roadmap, work to make life easier for the people who build our charts, and help identify new products the tooling can unlock. This role is part of our scaling charting organization and works closely with senior product leadership on one of its most consequential initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive major workstreams of the migration from our legacy chart production system to a modern, automated charting tool, helping double productivity
  • Conduct customer discovery with charting users to identify real bottlenecks and shape the roadmap around them, not assumed ones
  • Help identify and scope new product opportunities the new tooling unlocks
  • Partner with engineering teams across the globe to plan, sequence, and de-risk delivery
  • Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager and fellow PMs, and share your product craft as the team grows
  • Apply hands-on AI experience to find where AI genuinely improves the charting workflow, grounded in what you've built rather than trend-chasing

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of a platform or system migration, or a major component of one
  • Hands-on experience building with AI, and the ability to speak concretely about what you built and how, not just that you used it
  • Strong customer discovery skills, with the ability to identify a customer's actual problem, not just their stated request
  • Experience partnering with distributed, global engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aviation background, particularly as a pilot who has used Jeppesen charts (strongly preferred)
  • Experience at an airline or in the military, particularly with a technology background
