Employment Type: 2 x Full Time, Permanent Classification: Administrative Service Officer Level 5 (PN 59282 & 22021) Salary: $95,722 - $100,956 (Plus 12.5%25 Super) Location: Hybrid Section: Decision Support Division Closing Date: 21st October 2026

About the Role:

The Decision Support Unit, led by an Executive Group Manager reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, supports Canberra Health Services to achieve its strategic and operational priorities through data, analytics, Activity Based Funding , health information, ICT services and performance insights. The Unit provides accurate and timely information to support decision-making, improve data quality, strengthen operational planning and contribute to continuous business improvement across CHS.

Reporting to the relevant Directors within the Business Intelligence team, the Assistant Data Analyst supports the delivery of reporting, analytics, business intelligence and performance monitoring services. The role contributes to data analysis, report development, business improvement initiatives and the preparation of briefing notes, presentations and management reports. It also involves building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring information is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose to support effective decision-making across CHS.
