Full description
As a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, you will:
- Develop scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Factory.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT data integration pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Develop data transformation solutions using SQL, Python, and/or PySpark.
- Implement Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture concepts for scalable and efficient data platforms.
- Perform data modelling and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Implement appropriate security and data governance practices across data solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 4–6 years of overall professional experience in data engineering, cloud data engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Fabric Data Factory.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Python or PySpark for data engineering and transformation.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and orchestration.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
- Understanding of Azure cloud and Azure data services.
- Experience implementing data security and governance requirements.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Design and develop efficient Microsoft Fabric data pipelines.
- Build reliable ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
- Develop optimized SQL and Python/PySpark transformations.
- Apply Medallion Architecture and Delta Lake principles effectively.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve technical issues.
- Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with stakeholders and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Follow security, governance, and data management best practices.
