Production Support Engineer

Zodia Markets is a regulated institutional digital-asset brokerage backed by SC Ventures (the innovation and ventures arm of Standard Chartered, our majority shareholder). We provide institutional clients with stablecoin FX execution, liquidity and near-instant cross-border settlement across multiple stablecoins and 20+ fiat currencies.

Having found a strong product-market fit for corporate stablecoin payments, we are now scaling that into our core focus area, underpinned by a scalable technology platform built to run it at institutional scale. As financial markets move toward always-on, programmable infrastructure, we believe institutions should be able to move capital globally with the same speed and ease as information — and we are building the regulated infrastructure to make that possible.

Today we serve banks, asset managers, hedge funds, payment providers, corporates and digital-asset institutions globally — institutional counterparties only, never retail. The team is 60 people: a mid-sized regulated financial institution, not an early-stage startup.

• Investigate production issues and collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve them promptly.
• Take the lead in diagnostic efforts, aiming to automate diagnosis and resolve issues at the source.
• Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot problems, providing code fixes and conducting thorough testing.
• Create, develop, and utilize application monitoring solutions to improve application availability and performance in production.
• Work independently, effectively communicating with users, development teams, and support teams during downtimes and when addressing questions or issues.
• Adhere to defined support delivery processes and guidelines, such as Problem Management, Incident Management, Change Management, SLA Compliance, productivity, and other application goals.
• Develop diagnostic procedures and adhere to standards of Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management, among others.
• Foster strong, positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide support and assistance to business users.
• Support quality assurance of the core platform, ensuring its suitability for the intended purpose.
• Support the quality assurance of the core platform to ensure it is fit for purpose.

• Ability to understand, test and troubleshoot complicated system interactions.
• Ability to effectively interface with a wide range of professionally qualified external / internal business disciplines.
• Ability to read code, solid shell scripting, SQL, Linux
• Experience working and troubleshooting with FIX, REST and WS
• Strong analytical experience and communication skills

• Digital Assets or Financial Services industry experience
• Experience with DevOps tooling and containerization and cloud concepts (AWS, Docker and EKS)
