Job Description

Now, about this opportunity…

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic business and technology initiatives across Judo Bank. Working closely with business, technology and delivery teams, you will bring structure, clarity and momentum to complex work by leading discovery, eliciting and documenting requirements, improving processes, and translating business needs into actionable delivery outcomes.

This role suits an experienced, pragmatic and delivery-focused analyst who can build trusted stakeholder relationships, challenge assumptions, manage competing priorities and help deliver meaningful value for customers, colleagues and the Bank.

If that excites you, this just might be your dream job:

  • Leading business analysis activities from discovery through implementation across a diverse portfolio of business and technology change initiatives
  • Partnering with business, product, technology, operations and risk stakeholders to understand objectives, customer needs and operational challenges
  • Facilitating workshops, interviews and analysis activities to define business requirements and solution outcomes
  • Eliciting, analysing, documenting and managing business, functional, process and data requirements
  • Analysing current and future state processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and improved customer outcomes
  • Defining business rules, decisioning requirements and operational controls
  • Developing user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting analysis artefacts to enable delivery
  • Working with Product Owners, architects, engineers and delivery teams to assess solution options and support design decisions
  • Assessing business impacts, dependencies, risks and implementation considerations
  • Supporting testing, implementation, change readiness and adoption activities
  • Maintaining traceability between objectives, requirements, solutions and delivered outcomes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, standards and capability across Judo
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced analysts where required

Qualifications

You’ll likely bring:

  • Five or more years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst in complex business and technology delivery environments
  • A strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys, operational processes and regulatory obligations
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business and technology change across financial services, banking transformation or related environments
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments with Product Owners, delivery teams and technical stakeholders
  • Strong business analysis capability across discovery, requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, process analysis, mapping and optimisation
  • Experience developing user stories, managing backlogs, documenting requirements and maintaining traceability from business need through to delivery outcome
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across business and technical audiences
  • A pragmatic approach to navigating ambiguity and delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments
  • Desirable experience delivering lending or deposit product development, digital banking initiatives, customer-facing solutions or operational banking process transformation
  • Exposure to Salesforce, Jira, Confluence and microservice-based architectures will be highly regarded
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A collaborative, relationship-led approach aligned to Judo’s values of Trust, Teamwork, Accountability and Performance

If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply – your experience, mindset and potential matter to us.
