Position Summary
This dual role will be performing complex employer data review and audit functions, collaborating with outside auditors, and leading support for analysts and specialists to ensure accuracy and compliance in employer reporting. Along with analyzing data, researching information technology methodologies, and implementing procedures to enhance organizational efficiency while serving as a subject matter expert and independently managing projects and processes.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide training, guidance, and support to the Specialist in addressing daily inquiries
- Analyze and review audit report data prepared by outside auditors for accuracy and compliance with administrative rules
- Audit licensure look-up results for accuracy
- Prepare and deliver training to outside audit firms in support of the manager
- Identify patterns and recommend audit and remediation actions for data discrepancies
- Prepare and update procedures for team tasks
- Assist the manager with preparing and making presentations to the Board of Trustees
- Review auditing to ensure participant eligibility, including covered positions, licensing, and participation
- Conduct sample reviews of remediation completion for audit findings
- Document high-level findings for each audit and provide to manager for transparency and internal documentation
- Maintain detailed organized documentation of audit files and processes.
- Develop project plans, test plans, requirements, and communication deliverables
- Monitor project progress and evaluate project successes and obstacles
- Coordinate with end users, managers, and stakeholders on production support, project risks, and status updates
- Construct and manage complex reports across various databases
- Maintain open, transparent communication with your manager about progress, priorities, and any roadblocks
- Flag potential challenges early and collaborate with your manager and Director of Employer Services to develop solutions
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualificiations
- Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of experience
- Agile and project management experience preferred

- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and timely follow through
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality standards
- Strong listening, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring sound decision making and handling confidential matters
- Proficient in SQL, development, and data analysis to support business strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical users to achieve project goals and presentation to your audience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of business systems design and process improvement methodologies preferred
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work independently of day-to-day supervision
- Understanding of pension systems and related data discrepancies
