Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive, Data Analyst to join our analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring flight and ancillary sales performance, developing interactive dashboards, and turning raw datasets into actionable commercial insights.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, and Engineering to optimize analytics workflows, automate reporting, and empower management with data-backed decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring & Dashboarding

  • Sales Analytics: Analyze flight and ancillary sales performance using Google BigQuery, Microsoft Excel, and Looker Studio to track trends, evaluate revenue drivers, and support strategic decision-making.
  • KPI Dashboard Management: Develop, deploy, and maintain dynamic, automated dashboards tracking essential commercial metrics, booking volume, and ancillary performance.

Data Governance & Pipeline Management

  • Data Cleansing & Reconciliation: Perform end-to-end data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across disparate data sources to guarantee high data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to automate manual, recurring reporting workflows, optimizing legacy analytical pipelines to improve overall reporting speed and operational efficiency.

Business Collaboration & Root-Cause Analysis

  • Cross-Functional Requirement Gathering: Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to define reporting scope, translate complex business goals into scalable technical specs, and deliver reliable BI deliverables.
  • Root-Cause Investigation: Conduct thorough root-cause analysis on data discrepancies, unusual performance anomalies, and sales fluctuations, offering actionable findings and remediation steps to relevant stakeholders.

Commercial Insights & Ad-Hoc Analytics

  • Strategic Insights: Synthesize complex performance datasets into digestible management reports, clear trend assessments, and high-level summaries for senior leadership.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support ad-hoc commercial queries and multi-disciplinary initiatives relating to flight route performance, ancillary bundling strategies, and market distribution channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience in commercial data analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting.
  • Prior experience in the aviation, airline distribution, online travel agency (OTA), or travel tech industry is strongly preferred.
