Senior Business Analyst (remote from Spain) – International organisation

Profile: Business analyst.

Rate: 262€-275€/day.

Location: fully remote from Spain, delivering services for a project based in the Benelux region.

Key knowledge: Data.

Studies: Engineer/Certified.

Languages: English MANDATORY

Minimum experience: 5 to 7 years.

Description

Insurance Business Analyst with a strong technical and integration background required for a Benelux core system transformation project. The position is fully remote from Spain and will act as the link between business and technology teams.

We are looking for a professional with broad insurance process knowledge rather than expertise in a specific line of business, combined with strong analytical skills, a technical mindset, experience with integrations and end-to-end solution design, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience working across multiple teams and functional areas is essential.

Responsibilities include:

· Analysing business processes and requirements.

· Translating them into functional and technical specifications.

· Supporting fit/gap assessments.

· Understanding system behaviour, data structures, interfaces and configuration boundaries.

· Ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, architects, developers and delivery squads.

The consultant will drive end-to-end analysis across systems, identify integration points, dependencies, gaps and risks, and support solution design for payments, accounting, input/output management and data flows.

They will work closely with technical teams to validate solutions, ensure compliance with architecture standards, and support implementation, integration testing, UAT and go-live activities. Additional responsibilities include preparing and maintaining requirements documentation, process flows, BRDs, epics and solution descriptions.
