Cronos Europa Portugal is the Lisbon delivery centre of Cronos Europa, part of the Cronos Group; a technology federation of 9,000+ professionals and 500+ competence centres across Europe. From our office at IDB Lisbon we deliver application development, architecture, and IT operations for major European organisations, working as an integrated nearshore extension of our clients' teams.
About the Assignment
- Client: Global automotive manufacturer — customer care and engineering technology programme
- Engagement: Full-time
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Up to 3 years
- Model: Nearshore delivery from Lisbon,
- Office presence: Minimum 3 days per week on-site in Lisbon
- Travel: Delivery is 100% from Lisbon. Occasional travel to Germany is likely; colleagues from Germany will also visit the Lisbon team.
- Level: Senior : minimum 8 years in IT project management, of which at least 3 leading multi-market or international rollouts.
Responsibilities :
ROLLOUT PLANNING AND EXECUTION
- Drive the deployment of global customer service capabilities and standards across markets through structured planning and execution governance
- Coordinate end-to-end rollouts from planning through go-live and stabilisation
- Plan cutovers so that live customer service operations continue with minimal disruption
- Track progress, milestones, and delivery commitments across parallel market rollouts
READINESS AND ADOPTION
- Ensure readiness across both business and technical teams before each market goes live
- Enable consistent adoption of the global standards, resisting per-market divergence
- Coordinate training, communications, and hypercare with the local organisations
GOVERNANCE
- Manage dependencies between markets, platform teams, and third parties
- Own risk and issue management: identify early, escalate clearly, drive to closure
- Align stakeholders across markets, business functions, and IT — and keep them aligned as scope evolves
- Report status to programme leadership with an accurate picture, not a comfortable one
Technical skills:
- Multi-market rollouts — proven IT project management delivering a common platform or standard across countries
- Deployment and cutover planning — in environments where the business is live and cannot stop
- Dependency, risk, and issue management — at programme level
- Stakeholder management — across business and IT, and across countries with differing local practice
- Adoption of global standards — experience driving them against local resistance
- Execution governance – ability to coordinate multiple parallel deployments while maintaining delivery control.
- English — professional working proficiency; it is the programme language
Nice to have:
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe)
- Experience rolling out contact centre or CRM platforms — Genesys Cloud, Salesforce, or equivalent
- Background in customer service, after-sales, or another large-scale B2C service organisation
- Experience working in an Agile programme alongside Product Owners and Scrum Masters
- Change management or business readiness experience
- Additional European languages
- Highly proactive profile able to work autonomously
