About the job

The LTO Application Development team is seeking an iOS Developer to join the Orion Mobile team. This position will work closely with a Senior iOS Developer and a dedicated tester to support the ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Orion Mobile application.

This role is ideal for a developer with mobile application experience who is looking to expand their skills in enterprise mobile development while contributing to a critical business application. The developer will help deliver new features, support application maintenance, implement business requirements, and ensure Orion Mobile remains aligned with changes across the Orion platform and Apple ecosystem. Orion Mobile provides users with mobile access to key Orion functionality and is an important extension of the broader Orion platform.

Experience: 3-5 Years

As an iOS Developer, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and support the Orion Mobile application.

• Work closely with the Senior iOS Developer on application enhancements and new feature development.

• Implement user stories, business requirements, and defect fixes.

• Assist with updates required for new Apple iOS versions and development tools.

• Integrate mobile functionality with Orion APIs and backend services.

• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.

• Collaborate with the mobile tester to investigate and resolve defects.

• Support application testing, deployment, and release activities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required qualifications

• Experience developing software using Swift or another modern object-oriented programming language.

• Understanding of mobile application development principles.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.

• Knowledge of application debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience using source control systems such as Git.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing native iOS applications.

• Knowledge of Swift and Xcode.

• Familiarity with modern iOS frameworks and UI development.

• Experience working within Agile development teams.

• Exposure to automated testing practices.

• Experience working with enterprise or business applications.

• Experience consuming REST-based APIs.

• Interest in mobile architecture, user experience, and application modernization.
