Job description

Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Davao City, Philippines (Full Time Onsite)

Work Schedule: Rotational shifts (including weekends, holidays and night shifts)

Role Overview:

The Data Scientist will extract actionable business insights from complex datasets, design and test predictive models, and partner with internal teams to support data-driven decisions. This position works onsite, in rotational shifts, in either the Davao or Makati office.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure integrity.

Conduct statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning.

Build, test, and deploy predictive models tailored to business needs.

Visualize results and present findings to technical and business stakeholders.

Collaborate on data-driven projects with engineering, product, and operations.

Translate business goals into well-defined analytics initiatives.

Maintain complete documentation of data processes, workflows, and model development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or allied discipline.

Proven experience in data analytics, machine learning, or data engineering.

Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

Solid understanding of statistics, data processing, and predictive modeling.

Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

Excellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Willingness to work full time onsite in rotational shifts.

Compensation:

Makati: ₱40,000–₱60,000/month
