About the Role

As the Septic Installation Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multiple installation crews from plan review through final inspection. This role is critical, as you'll be managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and customer communication in a fast-paced construction environment. Your day-to-day will consist of coordinating schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on time and within budget. What You'll Do

Project and Field Operations

  • Manage multiple septic installation crews across several job sites simultaneously
  • Coordinate daily schedules, staffing, equipment, and material deliveries
  • Review plans, permits, soil reports, and system specifications before installation begins
  • Visit sites regularly to check progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications and local regulations
  • Troubleshoot field issues quickly to keep projects moving
  • Track project timelines and budgets to protect efficiency and profitability
  • Coordinate final inspections and project closeouts
  • Keep job documentation, reports, and project updates accurate

Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, builders, inspectors, engineers, and permitting agencies
  • Give customers and stakeholders proactive updates from start to finish, and provide timely follow ups when questions arise

Safety Enforcement

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on every job site
  • Lead by example so crews put safety ahead of speed

Leadership and Team Development

  • Train, mentor, and lead crew leaders and installers, and help them build the skills they need to advance
  • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and other employees as needed
  • Manage scheduling, time off, and leave requests in line with company policy
  • Uphold and instill our company values in your team members

Who We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting a wide variety of septic systems
  • Proven experience leading installation crews, including managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of local codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience supervising crew leaders or managing several teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Work Environment

  • Field-based work on construction sites and residential and commercial properties
  • Hands-on role that involves physical activity, outdoor work in all weather, and travel between job cites
