Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Technical Project Manager to lead complex initiatives within the IT Services sector, specifically tailored for the Financial Services and regulated industries. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with over a decade of experience who can bridge the gap between technical execution and product vision. The ideal candidate will drive project delivery using Agile methodologies while ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations, leveraging advanced tools for version control, data management, and system observability to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate end-to-end project lifecycles within the IT Services domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Serve as a Product Owner or lead Product Management activities, defining roadmaps and prioritizing features to deliver value in a regulated environment.
- Manage technical workflows using Git and GitHub to oversee code repositories and facilitate collaborative development processes.
- Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases to analyze data trends, support decision-making, and optimize system performance.
- Implement and monitor observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure system reliability, rapid incident detection, and minimal downtime.
- Apply SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles to coordinate large-scale agile operations and synchronize multiple teams.
- Lead technical project management efforts, balancing scope, time, and cost while mitigating risks associated with complex IT infrastructure.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Scrum and Kanban practices to enhance team velocity and continuous improvement.
- Administer Jira and Confluence to maintain comprehensive project documentation, track progress, and foster transparent communication across stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in technical project management or related fields.
- Proven expertise in the Financial Services sector or other heavily regulated industries, with a deep understanding of compliance standards.
- Strong background in Product Management or Product Ownership, capable of translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub, for managing software development lifecycles.
- Advanced knowledge of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL, for data querying and management.
- Hands-on experience with Observability and Monitoring tools to maintain system health and performance.
- Certification or significant practical experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in Technical Project Management within high-volume, complex environments.
- Extensive familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, along with a track record of driving agile transformation.
- Expert-level proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and Confluence for knowledge management and documentation.
