DevOps Engineer - iGaming - Philippines

About the Hiring Company:

The DevOps Engineer builds and maintains the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes that support the reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of the gaming platform, working closely with development and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game and platform services, ensuring automated testing, security scanning, and deployment gates are enforced.

• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform for cloud and on-premises environments.

• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes, supporting game and platform services.

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability tooling, responding to incidents and alerts.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and rollback processes to support live operations (LiveOps) changes with minimal downtime.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test, and release processes and reduce lead time.

• Manage secrets, credentials, and configuration using centralized secrets management tooling.

• Support incident response and post-incident reviews for production issues, driving root-cause remediation.

• Maintain and harden cloud infrastructure in line with security baselines and compliance requirements.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems.

Key Performance Indicators/Key Success Factors

• Deployment frequency and change failure rate.

• Mean time to recovery (MTTR) for production incidents.

• Pipeline build and deployment success rate.

• System uptime and availability against SLA targets.

• Reduction in manual deployment and operational tasks through automation.

The Successful Candidate:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering role, ideally supporting high-availability, real-time platforms such as online gaming.

• Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), scripting (Python, Bash), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

• Certifications (good to have): AWS/Azure/GCP certification or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred.
