Job Description

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our AI Development Team. In this role, you will build Python solutions, automation tools, and AI products, helping drive innovation across Ignitis Group. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and services
• Building data processing pipelines and integrating enterprise systems and APIs
• Developing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience
• Collaborating with data scientists and AI engineers to deploy AI and GenAI solutions into production
• Working with cloud technologies and modern software development practices
• Contributing to technical decisions, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Exploring new technologies and identifying opportunities to create business value

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Python software development
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks, libraries, and software engineering best practices
• Experience building APIs, integrations, and scalable backend services
• Experience working with databases and data processing pipelines
• Understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in Lithuanian

Would be an advantage: 

• Experience with AI/ML or GenAI technologies
• Experience working with LLMs, RAG solutions, AI agents, or prompt engineering
• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar

• Salary range for this position group: is 4290 to 6440 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
